They are already creating a version of VLC to Apple TV

The SUV popular video player, VLC , has confirmed today that they are working on a version for Apple TV, so you can install it on your device and enjoy it on TV from home, allowing watch videos in various formats without worry about how it was recorded.

The announcement indicates that they have already started with application development thanks to the programming kit that Apple released a few days ago, but have not indicating the features they offer.

It is important to remember that the new Apple TV has little internal space, as it assumes that most of the content that programs need to be run in the cloud, so it will be important that the VLC version for Apple TV allows play video in different online accounts and LAN access.

Jean-Baptiste Kempf, president of VideoLAN and one of the leading developers of VLC platform has been quite lively with the announcement, hopefully provide more details soon.
