Wearables Technology To know How Much Electricity Is Consumed Daily,

MagnifiSense is the name of a new technology in which they work wearables researchers at the University of Washington. The idea is to record the electrical energy used daily in such detail that it is possible to know both the amount and the specific devices and / or vehicles that were used to consume. Rather, it is a portable meter with advanced carbon footprint results.

MagnifiSense registers the use of televisions, refrigerators, hair dryers, blenders, ovens, remote control, laptops and even cars. To do this, it uses different frequencies of electromagnetic radiation generating such appliances and vehicles to a degree of success of 94% in a particular calibration-after quantification, but without it, the researchers say that no less than 83% -.

Sure, a bunch of sensors included in its design, but it is supplemented by software signal processing with machine learning algorithms to achieve such high accuracy rates. However, technology is still not perfect since, for example, with small tools as razors and toothbrushes, has had some problems; also, much remains to be done in aesthetics, that is, to the smallest prototypes for someone to have the courage to carry on your body.

Finally, a striking advance to make ends meet and know how much power is spent and how it was made especially for executing control actions from the record.
